It's Sexual Health Week!

September 20, 2019

This week is Sexual Health Week and we want you to know that your Sexual Health is important!

Speaking about your Sexual Health with a partner may feel worrying, but it doesn't have to be difficult or embarrassing. You may have been together for a while, or it could be a fairly new relationship, but having an open and honest conversation about contraception and STIs is a brilliant start. You may even wish to visit a Sexual Health Clinic together.

It's okay to feel nervous when visiting a Sexual Health Clinic or Doctor for a chat about any Sexual Health issues. We can assure you that there is absolutely nothing to worry about! They are professionals and experts and they see this stuff everyday! They are the best to advise you in everything from contraceptive options, STI testing, pregnancy testing and options, emergency contraception, HIV testing, even rape and sexual assault! Everything you speak about will always be treated with the strictest confidence.

Sexual Health is an important part of your physical, emotional and social wellbeing. It's important to be as open, educated and confident about it as you can, so that you can enjoy safe and pleasurable sexual experiences.
