Want to become a Peer Educator?

Peer2Peer Education CIC delivers peer led educational workshops to young people on life skills to equip them with information on sensitive subjects.  We focus on topics such as:

  • Sex and the Law;

  • Teenage Pregnancy;

  • Online Safety;

  • Anti-Bullying;

  • Developing Self Confidence;

  • Drug and Alcohol Awareness;

  • Unhealthy Relationships;

  • Gun and Knife Crime; 

  • LGBT,

  • Peer Pressure;

  • FGM;

  • And many more!

Peer2Peer are currently recruiting for facilitators (Peer Educators) to deliver our sessions into schools.  You need to be aged between 18 and 30 and have a passion for working with young people as well as being reliable. 

 

As a Peer Educator you will:

  • Receive full training on the topics we deliver.

  • Gain new skills, knowledge and experience.

  • Enhance your CV and improve your employment opportunities.

  • Meet new people, make new friends.

  • Get to know your local community.

  • Gain confidence and self-esteem.

  • Feel valued and part of a team.

Peer Educators are paid per session/workshop and are responsible for their own tax and national insurance payments.

 

Essential criteria:

  • Ability to commit during school hours.

  • Reliable, highly motivated and enthusiastic.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Happy to travel between relevant schools.

  • Willingness to train in the subjects delivered by Peer2Peer.
