This week, we have been showing our support for stopping violence against women and girls.

November 25th is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, also known as White Ribbon Day. From this day, until Human Rights Day on 10th December, is the 16 Days of Action.

During this time, a white ribbon is worn, and the promise is made to never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women and girls.

The White Ribbon UK organisation was set up by men in 2005. They work to engage with other men and boys to call out abusive and sexist behaviour and challenge Male cultures that can lead to abuse. They do the most fantastic job to encourage and promote equality and respect.
