Sexual Exploitation

This week, we have spoken about Sexual Exploitation across our social media platforms.

In England, each year, thousands of children and young people are sexually abused and raped. This includes those who have been victims of trafficking and been physically abused, threatened or bribed into having sex.

Sexual exploitation is wrong and it is never the fault of the victim. It is important that children and young people are educated and aware of the risks and dangers of sexual exploitation in order to keep them safe online and in person from such predators.

There is lots of great information available online on how to protect young people from sexual exploitation and what to do if it is suspected or revealed by a young person.
